Delaware Accountancy Law
The Delaware Accountancy Law consists of two parts:
The Code is updated through action by the Delaware legislature. The Regulations are updated by the Board of Accountancy.
The most recent change to the Delaware Code incorporated a new pathway to licensure. In addition to the current pathways of a Masters Degree with one year of experience and a Bachelors Degree with 150 credit hours and one year of experience, the new pathway adds a Bachelors Degree with two years of experience. This additional pathway is effective July 1, 2026.
